My interest in creativity and design started in childhood and was nurtured on arts foundation in Nottingham, taking in ceramics at degree level at Central School of Art followed by jewellery design and silversmithing at Loughborough university.

Plum Designs began with bold glamorous pieces in pewter. The pieces are cast locally in top grade English pewter with Swarovski crystals and glass beads adding even more sparkle to the ever popular necklaces, brooches and earrings.

My new range uses silver with pearls and semi-precious stones in subtle, flattering colour combinations. It offers simple, classic designs with a modern twist and delicate feel.

I offer design origination, model making and production of pewter items by commission and recently completed a brooch and necklace for "The Wilhelmshaven Association".

Interiors became part of my life with the development of my own house and the creation of four show apartments and communal areas of a Victorian factory conversion, "The Edge", in central Nottingham.

During a career break, I became involved in my daughter's school life which led to me producing both sculptural and painted art works, the latest being the double mural with a marine theme at Cropwell Bishop Primary School.
